Contribution Guidelines

Getting Started

To get started with contributing to Waza, please follow these steps:

  1. Create a fork of the repository.
  2. Clone the forked repository to your local machine.
  3. Install the project dependencies by running npm install.
  4. Create a new branch for your changes.

Making Changes

Before making changes, please make sure to review the existing issues and pull requests to ensure that your changes have not already been made by someone else. If you're unsure about whether your proposed changes are needed or if they fit with the project's goals, feel free to reach out to the maintainers for guidance.

When making changes, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Follow the existing code style and conventions.

  • Write tests to cover any new functionality or changes.

  • Keep your commits atomic and well-documented.

  • Use descriptive commit messages that explain the changes being made.

Submitting Changes

Once you've made your changes and tested them locally, you're ready to submit them for review:

  2. Create a pull request from your forked repository to the main Waza repository.

  3. Add a descriptive title and detailed description to your pull request.

  4. Wait for feedback and address any issues or concerns raised by the maintainers.
