Cyber Security Architect (Munich) Job Description

For Airbus CyberSecurity in Munich/Taufkirchen, we are looking for a Cyber Security Architect (m/f) to join the System Design department.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include: Designing, defining, integrating, implementing and validating Cyber Security solutions and services in the framework of Cyber Defence Centres (e.g. log management, SIEM, IDS, IPS, vulnerability scanners, threat intelligence platforms) Being responsible for the technical design of global solutions Working on the provision of state-of the-art security solutions, such as Cyber Defence Centre (CDC) and Security Operation Centre (SOC) in collaboration with other departments of the business Supporting internal and external customer projects Collaborating with architects, engineers and integrators of various IT security and Cyber Defence specialist departments Closely interacting with forensic specialists, penetration testers, as well as incident responders of the Cyber Defence department Collaborating with security analysts of the Service Operations department Directly reporting to the head of the System Design department

This role will involve travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: University degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or similar Experience in IT and engineering Experience in the setting up and running of a Security Service Centre would be a plus Extensive knowledge of cyber defence products, IT systems and network components Extensive knowledge in the development, implementation and validation, but also in the operation of IT security solutions Knowledge of various products, manufacturers and the implementation of the appropriate solutions would be a plus System knowledge of several of the following applications: Log management, e.g. TIPCO, Splunk SIEM, e.g. QRADAR, ARCSIGHT, McAfee IDS, IPS, e.g. SourceFire, McAfee, Stormshield APT tools, e.g. FireEye, Keelback (NET/HOST) Vulnerability scanner, e.g. Qualys, Greenbone, Nexpose Ticketing Systems, e.g. Remedy, OTRS Ability to work in an international context and excellent communication skills Negotiation level of German and English
