We are investigating the optimal PACl dosage to encourage flocculation (and subsequent removal) of humic acid (aka. HA) from influent water in an AguaClara plant.
Previous semester's mission statement: Investigate the effluent humic acid (aka. HA) concentrations with coagulant dosages increase for certain HA influent concentrations using a spectrophotometer and turbidimeter. Design experiments to compare HA effluent concentration trends for different HA influent concentations.
