Would adding WaterBody CityOject's and the transportation CityOject watercourse serve a need?

I'm thinking particularly within a modeling environment.
Would it add value if these features where present?

or is the road CityObject a better choice? ---an order of magnitude more challenging--- Would having this feature, its attributes (surface type, etc.) along with how (incline, decline, slope) it connects to the terrain add value within a modeling environment?

@chchatzi I am intruding into your personal space. Your research looks to good to pass-by. Forgive my forwardness.

What does Thesis_Master do?
Can it buffer an OpenStreetMap road network; without overlap while retaining attributes? Like the desire here?
How do you handle intersections? bridges? tunnels?

I want to plug it in here and add it as a CityJSON transport Object.
