Contributing to AbbyBot Project

Thank you for your interest in contributing to AbbyBot! We truly appreciate any constructive and positive contributions. As a token of our gratitude, all contributors will be recognized in the 'Hall of Fame' on the AbbyBot project website once it is completed.

How to Start

Please refer to the README.md file in each repository for detailed instructions on setting up the project locally. Once you're ready to contribute, follow these steps:

  1. Fork this repository.
  2. Clone your forked repository locally: 
    git clone https://github.com/your-username/[repository-name].git
  3. Create a new branch for your contribution: 
    git checkout -b my-contribution
  4. Make your changes.
  5. Commit your changes with a clear and descriptive message: 
    git commit -m "Brief description of changes"
  6. Push your branch to your forked repository: 
    git push origin my-contribution
  7. Submit a pull request to the main branch of the original repository.

Pull Requests

  • All contributions should be submitted as pull requests.
  • Please ensure your pull request includes a clear description of what it accomplishes.
  • Pull requests will be reviewed and approved by the AbbyBot team if they are effective and beneficial to the project.

Issues

Feel free to use the Issues tab to:

  • Share your ideas for new features.
  • Report any bugs you encounter.
  • Discuss anything related to the AbbyBot projects.

  • Please be respectful and considerate to all contributors.
  • Remember that contributing to AbbyBot is voluntary, so let's keep interactions positive and constructive.

Copyright and Image Usage

  • AbbyBot's Images: Any images or artwork related to the character (Abigail "Abby" Monroe) are subject to copyright restrictions. Contributors are not permitted to use or distribute these images without explicit permission from the AbbyBot Project team. If you have artwork or images you'd like to contribute, please ensure you have the appropriate rights or have created the content yourself.

  • However, any image contributed by any contributor will be copyrighted by the same user and will not be the property of AbbyBot.
