Parts Used For Golden Raider Mk 2, with suppliers and costs

Robotics Parts

These are parts used directly in the assembly of the Golden Raider Mk. 2

Tools

The tools I used to got everything set up, assembled, etc. These will come in handy if you're trying to replicate this.

  • Diagonal Wire Cutters
  • Cell Phone Repair kit (for disassembly of the ship without destroying it)
  • Wire strippers
  • Pliers
  • Soldering Iron
  • Hand drill with 0.5mm+ bits
  • USB to TTL converter

Consumables

Various odds n' ends of negligible cost that went towards assembly

  • Solder
  • Heatshrink Tubing
  • 22-gauge solid-core wire
  • Couple of PCB's to wire parts together

Scavenged Parts

Crap I grabbed from my home, or that you probably have lying around or can get secondhand

  • Old Wiimote (NOT WiiMotion Plus)
