BTCKeySearch

A python tool that scans files in a given directory looking for Bitcoin private keys, BIP32 root keys (xpriv) and Monero private spend keys.

Installation

To use btckeysearch simply download it:

git clone https://github.com/ASeriousMister/BTCKeySearch

Then change your working directory to its folder:

cd BTCKeySearch

Now install dependencies:

pip3 install -r requirements.txt

It requires to have pip installed. If not so do:

sudo apt install python3-pip

Then launch the tool:

python3 btckeysearch.py -d /home/folder/to/scan
