Adding a feature, selecting it and pressing Save does not appear to do anything

Hello! Thank you for the wonderful extension, I've already found it super useful for seeing a live map update while I'm hand editing geojson.

I love the idea of being able edit in the preview as well! However I'm not sure if I'm doing something incorrectly or it is a bug:

1. Click Draw Polygon
2. Draw and complete a polygon
3. Click on the Polygon and click Save
4. Nothing happens *Expected geojson file to update, or polygon information to be available somewhere

Hi, I made a video for the usage, did you use it as what's in the video? Seems everything works fine for me.

That doesn't work in a dev container.
In my case, an arbitrary file is being updated instead.
